A web app that generates, validates, and hosts machine-readable capability pages for MCP servers so agents and developers can discover what any server does without loading its full schema
Every MCP server today is a black box until you connect to it: discovering what tools it exposes requires reading source code or feeding the full schema to an LLM. The MCP spec roadmap includes Server Cards served at /.well-known/mcp, but no tooling generates, validates, or hosts them. This is a web app where a developer points at their MCP server (or pastes a schema), gets a structured capability card auto-generated, validates it against the draft spec, and receives a hosted page with a stable URL that registries and agents can query without a live connection.

Gap Assessment
3 tools exist (registry.modelcontextprotocol.io, Smithery.ai, Kong MCP Registry) but gaps remain: Does not auto-generate capability pages from a live server or schema; no /.well-known/mcp hosting; no validation against the emerging Server Cards spec; requires manual submission; No structured machine-readable capability endpoint per server; no spec-aligned Server Cards generation; no /.well-known/mcp hosting; discovery still requires a human browsing the site, not an agent querying a URL.

| Product | Does | Missing |
|---|---|---|
| registry.modelcontextprotocol.io | Official Anthropic-maintained MCP server registry in preview since September 2025; a browsable directory of servers with metadata contributed by authors manually | Does not auto-generate capability pages from a live server or schema; no /.well-known/mcp hosting; no validation against the emerging Server Cards spec; requires manual submission |
| Smithery.ai | Directory listing 20,000+ MCP servers with search and install flows for developers; surfaces basic tool counts and descriptions scraped from README and npm metadata | No structured machine-readable capability endpoint per server; no spec-aligned Server Cards generation; no /.well-known/mcp hosting; discovery still requires a human browsing the site, not an agent querying a URL |
| Kong MCP Registry | Enterprise-grade MCP registry inside Kong Konnect for dynamic tool discovery in agent workflows; OAuth-secured, auditable access for large engineering orgs | Enterprise-only (Konnect pricing tier); does not generate or host per-server /.well-known/mcp pages for individual open-source or indie MCP servers; not accessible to solo developers publishing a single server |
