Web app or plugin that syncs OBS scene collections and profiles to the cloud so streamers can restore their full setup on a new PC without manual export and copy
OBS Studio is fully local-only. Scene collections and profiles are stored in machine-specific local files with hardware device IDs baked in, making cross-machine sync non-trivial. Streamlabs and StreamElements both offer cloud-hosted scene collection sync as a core selling point. OBS has refused to build native cloud sync for over 8 years despite repeated requests on the OBS ideas board and forum. The Scene Collection Manager community plugin (33K+ views, 62 replies) is the most popular workaround but only handles local backup and restore, not cross-device cloud sync. A standalone web app that authenticates via OBS WebSocket, exports scene collections and profiles on a schedule, stores them in the cloud, and allows one-click restore to a fresh OBS install would fill the gap cleanly.
